RedFlag Accelerator Typologies Quarterly Update: Focus on understanding criminal behaviours and protecting children
RedCompass Labs are very pleased to announce the publication of the quarterly update of the RedFlag Accelerator Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking (MSHT) and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Typologies.
The latest version builds on the work previously done by the RedFlag Accelerator team and its partners by providing a new, in-depth analysis and key insights of each of the 24 scenarios. The enhanced RedFlag Accelerator Typologies will enable financial crime analysts and investigators to better understand the context and the applicability of each MSHT and CSAE scenario and, ultimately improve detection and reporting.
This version also introduces a new section – ‘Protecting Children’, which outlines the key features of this complex, global crime as never before has it been easier for criminals to buy and sell child sexual exploitation content online and hide in plain sight. Implementing CSAE Typologies will help proactively disrupt this horrific crime and improve the timely identification of criminals and interventions to protect children.
Finally, the latest version brings technical improvements that enhance navigation and usability of the typologies and facilitate the implementation.
